Year 10 HASS

On Wednesday 1 August, five Year 10 Humanities and Social Sciences students had the opportunity to share company with Mr Bill Johnston MLA Member for Cannington at Parliament House. The visit entailed a tour of the main building, admiring photographs of past and present leaders of Western Australia, followed by a three-course meal in the dining room. On the lookout for members of Parliament we recognised, we noticed a few familiar faces. After lunch we spent some time in the beautiful Legislative Assembly and learnt some party facts and sat in members’ seats. We were all mesmerised by the stain glass and wooden architecture. Congratulations to Brooke Bennett, Nicholas Colquhoun, Kayla Hartree, Maxim Musyukhin and Patrick Osias for being excellent ambassadors of the College and thank you to Mr Johnston for extending this invitation to the College.
