Grade 3/4

This term 3/4M created our own mini playgrounds. We got to choose whether we wanted to work by ourselves, with a partner or in a group. We did the playgrounds because in Inquiry we’re learning about building and structure. I worked with Emily, and together we built a wonder playground. It has been great to work together as a team. We have learnt that all opinions count and not to give up. There have some really creative designs, including trees, skate board ramps and relaxing & reading corners. Some people even have rock-climbing walls!!! It’s been a fun and valuable lesson. It’s super educational and we all enjoyed it. It has been great learning about structure and building.

This term we made our very own playgrounds. No not real ones, they were only mini. It went from trampolines to swings, slides to pools, sandpits to ball pits. My partner was Maddy. R and we had so much fun. Everyone loved the designing and creating process. We did have some ups and downs along the way. Everyone had so much fun! We did these playgrounds for Inquiry and it took about 2 weeks. This was by far the best Inquiry EVER!

This term has been amazingly fun!

We made playgrounds. Not real playgrounds. Playgrounds made out of straws, paddle pop sticks, cardboard and pipe cleaners.

We could work ourselves, with partners or in a group. I choose to work in a group with Indie and Sarina.

Everyone’s playgrounds are amazing. People have huts, flying foxes, trampolines and sand pits [with actual sand]!

It was fun! I’m sure some other people would agree with me.
