What incredible weather we have had across the past week and into next week! We are truly blessed.  Thank you to all families for the encouragement and support you are giving your child/ren as they begin the school year. It has been a busy start  and we appreciate all your support as we navigate our COVID challenges.  The students have settled in well. Opening School Mass

Last Friday we were able to stream our Opening School Mass into all classes. It was a most appropriate way to start our New School Year and I thank our Captains and our Religious Education Leader -Mr Ru for their organisation. We were reminded that we are called to be our best, to be hopeful, kind and compassionate people, but to know that no matter what our God is with us.

More news on our Religious Education Page.

RAT KITS - COVID 19

Our week 1 & 2 RAT Kits have  now been distributed to all staff and students.

  • We will send home with each child a kit for weeks 3&4 when these arrive .
  • These tests are voluntary but strongly encouraged. We ask that your child test twice a week (Monday and Thursday if possible) , although you can choose the days that best suit your family.
  • I have included last weeks information  about reporting and managing cases on the page Reminders about COVID

Anaphylaxis

  • I remind parents and carers that we have several students in our school who have anaphylaxis. Anaphylaxis can be life threatening. To this end I  request that parents do not send your child to school with any nut products for snack or lunch.
  • Please note that if you wish to bring a birthday treat for class members, it can not be food related.  Perhaps  a pencil, stationery  or stickers could be a good alternative.
