STRAWBALE PICNIC CONCERT 2022
The Strawbale Picnic Concert is a highlight of the annual Thornbury High School Concert series. The Strawbale Picnic is Thornbury High School's first music performance of 2022 and is a wonderful opportunity to see our Year 7 and 8 combined bands, our impressive Senior Ensembles and to get to know the Performing Arts team of THS.
The entire community is invited to enjoy the performances in a relaxed, picnic setting on the THS Dundas Street oval. Food and drinks are available to purchase on the night, and all funds raised directly support our wonderful and unique music program.
When: 4th April 2022, from 5.30pm (concert begins at 6pm)
Where: Dundas Street oval, Thornbury High School
Tickets: Free or donation (book via CompassTix)

MUSIC PARENTS COMMITTEE
The Music Parents Committee consists of a dedicated group of THS parents who meet regularly to support the growth of Music and the Performing Arts at Thornbury High School. The committee strives to promote the presence of the Performing Arts in the school community, as well as raise funds to support the ongoing Year 7 and 8 Instrumental Music program. This program is entirely unique, as it engages all Year 7 and 8 students in the learning of an instrument within our dedicated curriculum.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED:
The Music Parents Committee is always looking for enthusiastic new members! You can join the committee as a regular member, volunteer your time for a single event, donate baked goods or items to sell at concerts & events, or simply support the committee through your attendance at THS concerts and productions. Joining a THS committee is a great way to get involved, get to know other parents and get to know the school community.
