Launch into Maths

Launch into Maths’ family challenge!!

This week we are launching our new family maths challenge. Each fortnight, in the newsletter and on our Facebook page, we will be posting a new and different maths challenge for families to try at home. There will be 2 different levels of challenges, one for students in Grades Prep-3 and one for students in Grade 4-6.

Families will have one week to complete the challenge and winners will be draw from each level at the following assembly. To enter, students will need to bring their solutions (and any working out!) to the challenge to school, with their name and grade clearly written on their answer, and place them in the Maths Challenge Box in the office by the following Thursday lunch time. This week’s challenge solutions will be due by Thursday the 24th February and winners will be drawn and receive their prize at our next assembly. We will also publish the winners’ solutions and working out in the following newsletter!

We can’t wait to see the many different ways that families solve the challenge questions!!

Good luck!!
