Work Experience Wrap-Up for 2022

During the recent school holidays,  a number of boys participate in work experience that led to invaluable life experiences, offers of full-time employment and a chance to test the waters to see if they would want to pursue that career.  The photos below are of Kibbim Titasey at Cairns Hospital and Mace Arnold at Rio Tinto.

And last term, all our Year 10s took part in a week-long work experience program.  The feedback from the providers of this service is in and you can read what they thought by clicking on the link below.

We have also been contacted by several  local businesses offering school-based traineeships. These programs involve a paid, part-time working position and lead to achieving a Certificate III from TAFE. This counts as credits towards obtaining your QCE.

In addition, a number of local businesses have been reaching out in search of casual staff during the coming break.

If you are interested in any of these opportunities, please see  Ms Leicht or me in the Careers office to get our college to help support your endeavour.
