Grade 3 (Belinda Mertens and Jackie Geary)
Team work made the dream work on Saturday! The girls worked well as a team to move the ball up the court scoring 9 goals. Eleanor Todeschini played the best game of her season and was the standout player in WA and WD, playing in front, making space and turning play.
Grade 4 (Green)
The girls had a slow start in the first quarter against Victory, but in the second quarter stepped up with Alannah on fire in goals! After half time we played lovely free flowing netball with some great passages of play and strong defence.
Grade 4 (Teal)
The teal team played a great game against Strath. Thanks the the green team for sending in two players to fill in. The girls demonstrated amazing team work and sportsmanship throughout the game. In the fourth quarter they made sure their opponents were having just us much fun as they were despite not scoring as many goals.
Grade 5
The Grade 5 team played a great drawn game against St Therese’s. The girls played a great defensive game with Polly Keane strong in GK in the first quarter. The two evenly matched teams played an amazing game of netball. All the girls should be extremely happy with how they played.
Grade 6
The girls played against Victory and dominated the game from the first quarter. The girls mixed up positions and proved their adaptability: Ellie in WA showed great leading skills at the centre pass, and Georgie was on fire in goals. All round the girls are showing the results of a strong coaching team with fantastic leading and strong team work.
Once we had our full team for the second half of the game the girls were unstoppable. Winning the game by 28 points.
Well done girls.
