Parents & Friends

The Violet Street Parents and Friends Group is now officially up and running after having our AGM last term! We are pleased to have a group of 10 parents on committee (and growing!) and thankful to have volunteers put up their hands for the key roles. Jo Fifer (mum of Albert in F/1T) has taken on the role of President for the next year, Lisa Broadbear (mum of Raff in MB2/3) will be our Treasurer and Sal Taberner (mum of Ada in F/1L) will be our Secretary. We're looking forward to helping our school by fundraising, getting people involved with activities, running more social events, and supporting students with their ideas. Anyone is welcome to join the committee at any time so please reach out to Lou if you are interested.
Our pie drive was a HUGE success - $830 was raised! Now we will work with the school as to how these funds can be spent to benefit the students - we'll let you know when a decision is made... if you have ideas, this will be something we discuss at our next meeting on Monday July 31st at 3:20pm in the library. Pop in and say hi - the more the merrier! We'll also get started with planning our next fundraiser.
