Hi Ivanhoe Primary School Community,

Hello! My name is Ashleigh Doyle and I am currently teaching 1D! I have been teaching for 7 years, with 3 of those years being at Ivanhoe Primary School. I have taught Foundation, Year 1 and Year 2. My passion is teaching in junior years, and I love helping children get settled into the routine of being at school.
This year, I will be finishing up teaching the wonderful 1D in term three. I will be heading off on my most exciting adventure to have a baby! I can’t wait to come back and share some photos with you all!
Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending my time with my family and my dog Harley. I love to cook and do art and crafts. I look forward to seeing you all around the school grounds!

Hello! I’m Megan Richardson and I’m currently teaching the wonderful children in 1R. This is my second year teaching Year 1 at Ivanhoe Primary School and I adore how kind, creative and motivated these young students are. I am thrilled to be working with the Year 1 and 2 team this year and I love to see our collective knowledge, enthusiasm, interests and enjoyment of the profession have a profound impact on the young people in our classrooms. Both IPS students and staff are a source of much joy and inspiration for me each day.
As a teacher, I strive to cultivate a caring, inclusive and supportive learning environment based on positive relationships and a collective belief that all members of our classroom community can grow and reach their full potential. Children will often hear me say “progress over perfection” because I strongly believe in persistence and learning from mistakes. I hope that 1R is a space where students feel empowered to try their best and feel supported in further developing their growth mindsets and resilience.
When I’m not teaching, I’m enjoying time with my beautiful family, walking our 1-year-old border collie, visiting my local cafes and restaurants and planning our next beach holiday or bushwalking adventure.
Hello IPS!

My name is Sue Kelly and I am in my 22nd year of teaching. I have been teaching here at Ivanhoe Primary School since 2018. This year, I am teaching a year 1/2 class and I am very lucky and I get to work with both the year 1 and year 2 teaching teams. I have a wonderful class of children and we have lots of fun together.
Prior to teaching I spent ten and a half years in the Navy and then decided to go to University to do my teaching degree. Outside of teaching I love to cook and going out for brunch on the weekends.
I feel very fortunate to part of the Ivanhoe Primary School community.
Hello IPS!

My name is Georgia Groves and I am teaching the delightful 1G this year. I am so excited to be working alongside the amazing Year 1 teachers this year. I feel so privileged to be working with such knowledgeable individuals, and I am having so much fun learning from them.
My journey at IPS began in 2021, as a pre-service teacher completing my teaching rounds. In 2022, I worked at IPS as a Causal Relief Teacher, and was fortunate enough to work with many of the amazing IPS students across all year levels. This wonderful opportunity made it clear to me, that IPS was where I wanted to be. In Term 4, I secured my first full time teaching position in 1M. Some of the many things I love most about IPS, is how kind, passionate and driven both students and staff are. They inspire me every day and make coming to work each day such a joy!
As a teacher, I aim to nurture a positive and inclusive classroom environment, where each student is provided with equal opportunities to reach their full potential and develop a life-long love for learning.
In my spare time, I love travelling back to my hometown in Echuca to spend time with family, catching up with friends or planning my next holiday!
