100 Days of School
What a fabulous day we had on Wednesday! The Preps had a great day, and so many continued to play the 100 year old act for the whole day. Thank you to families for putting in so much effort with the costumes- it really makes for a fun day!
We had a parade to show the 1/2s and 5/6s our outfits, made hats to celebrate our 100th day, did a scavenger hunt where we had to find 100 numbers, made a picture out of the numerals that make up 100 and lots of other 100th day related things.
Maths
Last week we were learning about odd and even numbers. We sorted objects into groups and checked if it was and odd or even number depending if there was any left over and played games.
Ecolinc
Today the Preps and Grade 1/2s, were lucky to participate in an incursion by Ecolinc. We learnt about living and non-living things and vertebrate and invertebrate animals. We spent time exploring and got to touch a leaf insect and a frog!
