Unit of Study: Mixed Emotions 

 

Brief Description: Students explore topics of emotional and spiritual health and wellbeing including; emotional regulation, religion/ culture,   sense of belonging and purpose.  

 

Scaffolding Learning

At the conclusion of this unit of study students will have: 

 

An understanding of key knowledge

  • Evaluate factors that shape identities, and analyse how individuals impact the identities of others
  • Evaluate situations and propose appropriate emotional responses and then reflect on possible outcomes of different responses to health and wellbeing
  • Plan and evaluate new and creative interventions that promote their own and others’ connection to community and natural and built environments

  • Investigate the influence of emotional regulation on everyday life 
  • Evaluate emotional responses and reactions of myself and others
  • Discuss the influence of external factors that influence purpose and belonging.
