Brief Description: Students explore topic relating to factors affecting Mental Health including; body image, genetics, sociocultural factors, stress, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, Self-Care and more.

At the conclusion of this unit of study students will have: 

 

An understanding of key knowledge

  • Students will explore the dimensions of Mental Health
  • Students will Explore how Body Image is developed and influenced, and how this can impact Mental Health 
  • Explore the influence of Genetics on Mental Health
