Sustainable Food Solutions
As part of their PBL, students in Sustainable Food Solutions were given the challenge of creating a meal that produced no food waste. The dish also had to be presentable for a restaurant, cooked and plated within 75 minutes, and kept within a $10 budget.
It was wonderful to see all of the creative dishes our students came up with! Some examples of the dishes produced included a whole orange pie, chickpea burgers with aquafaba special sauce, whole kiwi pancakes and watermelon juice and fried watermelon rind. Well done to all involved!
