Body Kind Youth Survey 2023- Student voice can make a difference
Butterfly Foundation is inviting all young people aged 12 - 18 to share their views about body image and their ideas on what needs to change to create a more Body Kind Australia. The annual Body Kind Youth survey is voluntary, anonymous, online, and ethics approved. It takes around 15 minutes to complete and requires parental consent for under 15's. Help Butterfly help more young people to be kinder to their body and encourage your child to take part. They can enter the draw to win a gift voucher when they participate. Fairy Bread Day - Sprinkle it with Kindness!
When: Wednesday 18 October during lunchtime
Where: Central Plaza
Details: Our Student Wellbeing Action Group (SWAG) along with the Wellbeing Team will be buttering, sprinkling and making hundreds of pieces of fairy bread to share with our students for FREE at lunch time.
Why: We want to help sprinkle kindness across our school!
Body Confident Children and Teens - For Parents
Information and practical tips for parents of primary and secondary-age children on how to promote positive body image in the home. Topics covered include: Body image influences | The role of body image in problematic eating and exercise behaviours | How to positively role model | Responding to appearance talk and appearance-teasing |What to do if concerned.
