MUSIC SOIREE A SUCCESS

A night of musical magic unfolded as our talented Instrumental Music students took the stage at the Soiree this week! Students performed a variety of repertoire from classical to pop, duos, solos, stage and rock bands. The evening also included enthusiastic audience participation with percussion instruments to a great rendition of ‘Tequilla’. Special mention to Year 12 student Ethan W who sang a Frank Sinatra classic ‘That’s Life’ and Winnie B for his guitar jam. Both students have made a valuable contribution to the music program and helped inspire younger students. Huge shout-out to our dedicated students and our amazing instrumental music staff Peter, Lucinda, Elisha and Jennifer who have worked tirelessly to preparing all the performances. Congratulations and Bravo!

MUSIC ON THE DECK

Music students provided a wonderful atmosphere at the recent Bake-Off. A sunny lunchtime performance where students were able to eat, listen, relax and sing to some classics. Thank you Year 11 and 12 Musos. Watch out for the term 4 ‘Music on the Deck Jams’
