Science Open Afternoon - Celebration of Learning

Next Wednesday 16th August we have our Science Celebration of Learning. All classrooms will be open from 2.30 - 3.00pm. Each year level will be conducting a fun and interactive experiment that we would love parents/guardians to join in with! 

 

At 2.30pm you can enter your child's classroom and sign in with your child's teacher. Below is a list of the experiments that will be conducted in each year level. 

 

Foundation: Fluffy Slime

Year 1/2: Rainbow Wizard's Brew

Year 3: Magic Marbled Milk

Year 4: Elephant Toothpaste

Year 5: Bouncy Balls

Year 6: Invisible Ink

Hello Everyone,

 

Survey - WE WANT OUR PARENTS / CAREGIVERS / GUARDIANS TO TELL US WHAT THEY THINK! 

A reminder to all of our families, that you are invited to participate in the Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey. The link and PIN to complete the survey was sent to you via Compass and email on Monday 7 August.

 

The survey:

  •  will be conducted online
  • only takes 20 minutes to complete
  • can be accessed at any convenient time within the survey period on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones
  • will be available in English and 10 other languages including Arabic, Greek, Hakha Chin, Hindi, Japanese, Punjabi, Simplified Chinese, Somali, Turkish, and Vietnamese.

The survey will finish on Friday 8 September 2023.

 

If you are having trouble accessing the survey at home, there will be some iPads available at school for you to use. Some parents who are on our School Council will have them and be available to help you before the end of the school day, from around 3pm

This will start on Tuesday 15th August.

Week 5’s challenge is:  The Occupations (jobs) Alphabet Challenge 

 

 

Find a word related to that topic for each letter of the alphabet, or as many as you can. You can find more than one word for each letter.

You must collaborate with at least one other person (a friend, parent, classmate, etc) and no more than 3 other people. If you do not collaborate, you will not receive a Caught You Doing Right card for Collaboration.
