Night of the Notables
In Term 3, our Year 9 students at Scoresby Secondary College prepare for the annual Night of the Notables. This event gives students the opportunity to showcase the life and achievements of a chosen notable person, and this is conveyed through an array of displays, giveaways, digital media, posters, and thorough biographical work.
With lockdown being extended through most of the term, the Year 9 students did not get the opportunity to present their work to parents, teachers, and peers. This, however, did not deter them from giving their full effort in completing this project, and this can be clearly seen from the outstanding work below.
Even with such drastic changes through the term, the students of Scoresby have clearly shown that this will not stop them from doing their best and representing the values of the school.
Great work!

A Display of Appreciation
Recently students in Years 7 and 8 spent time in English class developing posters and words of appreciation for our local Knox Police Officers.
It was important for students to acknowledge the service of our local police men and women, and their continued efforts to protect the community during lockdown and these challenging times. The students thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to get creative and two of our students were lucky enough to present their posters and decorated cupcakes to Inspector Jim Cooke and Senior Sergeant Vin Butera.
