Languages Week 2021

National Languages Week was celebrated at St Norbert College in Week 4 of this term, and what a week it was! Students of Languages participated in many activities across the week that enhanced their learning. Students of Italian in Year 7 made Bruschetta, Year 8 students tasted different types of Italian breakfast foods and coffee, and students in Year 9 and 10 Italian enjoyed making delicious Italian pizza from scratch.

ll students at the College were invited to participate in a Bocce competition which was run at lunchtime in the Italian classroom. While competing students were entertained by Year 9 student Nicholas Navarra playing Italian tunes on the piano. A Create-your-own Anime Character competition is also running at the College with the winner to be announced in Week 7. 

Thank you to the many students who have entered a drawing of a character. There are some fantastic creations!
