Wyniss Live Stream Review
The Wyniss performance was on the 27/8/20. There were four performers for this show and they were Uncle Dujan, Uncle Smiler, Auntie Jeanette and Auntie Norah.
I found it was very interesting to watch them perform. They told us what instruments they used in the performance, told us how they made it and how it is was used. They also danced for us and we got to follow along.
I learnt a lot, some things about their culture like their dances. Some of the dances were important dances from their culture that they wanted to share with us. Some other things I learned were about the instruments that they used. One instrument what they showed us was the Kulap, which is made of seed pods and they drilled holes into it and weaved some string though the holes to make something like a rattle.
I enjoyed the performance very much. Merrie, Year 7
Virtual excursions at NGV
We are fortunate to have secured bookings in the National Gallery of Victoria Virtual Excursion Program during Week 1 of Term 4. These excursions will be delivered virtually via WebEx and we will be guided by an educator from the NGV.
Please send a Xuno message to Victoria Brennan to confirm your attendance and a WebEx link will be sent to parents/carers and students a few days before their excursion. This is an amazing opportunity to attend a high quality exhibition free of charge.
