"The Exhaltation of the Cross'

Monday 14th September 2020

Mass will be celebrated at 5pm on this special day.

"We make the Sign of the Cross before prayer which helps to fix our minds and hearts to God. After prayer we make the Sign of the Cross to keep close to God. During trials and temptations our strength and protection is the Sign of the Cross. At Baptism we are sealed with the Sign of the Cross, signifying the fullness of redemption and that we
belong to Christ." - https://www.catholicculture.org/culture/liturgicalyear/calendar/day.cfm?date=2020-09-14

Catholic Mission

This year, students across Australia are encouraged to not only learn about Cambodia and the work of the Church there, but to do something extraordinary for Mission through the fundraising, advocacy and prayers.  On Thursday, the SRC will gather with Mrs Long and Mrs Rheinberger to brainstorm and discuss fundraising options in the current climate and how best to get the message of Catholic Mission out to our School and Community.  Stay tuned for some awesome ideas and an opportunity to learn more about the focus country, Cambodia, in the weeks leading up to Catholic Mission Month - October.

World Mission Sunday is celebrated around the world on the second last Sunday in October. It expresses a commitment to build a better world for all of God's people, a world where everyone has all they need to live a dignified and fulfilling life. This year, World Mission Sunday is 18th October 2020.
