Thursday Activities

A big thank you to all the parents who were able to help with Thursday Activities last week. Here are some photographs showing the great time we had.

The first 4 weeks of activities will run until Thursday 20th June, with the last 2 sessions on weeks 1 & 2 of Term 3. The activities for this rotation are; Cooking – this week we made coconut and jam slice, Woodwork, Gardening, Sketching with pastels, Craft – God’s Eyes and Quilling.

We need at least 3 extra adults to help us run these activities effectively.

Please let your child’s teacher know if you are available to help with these activities and make sure the office has a copy of your current Working With Children’s Check.

The new Carlsruhe song

During assembly on Friday, the Carlsruhe Unit will be giving a performance of our new Carlsruhe song. The students have been very busy learning the lyrics and coming up with actions to entertain the school. Please come along and share our performance if you have the chance. The lyrics are below.

Gumboot racks

The building of the new gum boot racks has started. Thank you to the families who have donated wood for this project. We still need many more broom or garden tool type wooden handles though to complete these.
