Hope everyone is staying warm as it seems Winter is upon us!
To note this week, stay tuned for more info on the upcoming Trivia Night scheduled for Saturday 27 July.
- To all the dads at the school - please save the date for Friday 31 August (**new date**) for our Fathers Day Breakfast at school. Full details to follow!
From the Fair Committee:
Thanks to all the people that have volunteered to take on roles for the fair. We have such an enthusiastic and talented team of parents and carers here at school!
We still need 3 important roles filled so if any of these interest you, please let me know -
- Catering Coordinator - organise the various food stalls such as the pizza stall, BBQ, devonshire teas etc
- Sports and Games Coordinator - organise the old fashioned games and 'sports corner'
- Amusements & Animals Coordinator - organise amusements and animal activities for the day.
The fair is still 5 1/2 months away so there is plenty of time or organise everything if we have enough people on board. We just need people power so it doesn't become a huge job for anyone!
The next meeting is Wednesday 12th June, 7.30pm at the Vic Hotel (6.30pm for dinner beforehand). Everyone is welcome to come along and see what it's all about. Even if you can't commit to one of the roles above, there are other things that you can do to help! Thanks, Anita 0407 409 575
- Wishing everyone a safe long weekend - there’s plenty on around town with the Woodend Winter Arts Festival (don’t forget the fireworks tomorrow night!).
