Great Southern High School Cup, Katanning

On 6 May, five teams of girls travelled to Katanning to compete in the annual Netball WA Great Southern High School Cup. We had a mixture of teams from the Years Twelve, Ten and Eight girls, while the Year Eleven girls volunteered to coach and umpire these teams.

The day was jam packed with many games being played against other schools from all across the Great Southern. We had the Year Twelve girls team and a Year Ten girls team make it into the grand final at the end of the day, but unfortunately both teams lost to NASHS.

The girls all played very well and had a great day playing netball with their friends while experiencing friendly competition against rival schools. We would like to give a massive thank you to all the volunteer umpires and Miss Smith and Mrs Poole for making the day possible for us all.
