New - Yalka Yakapna Woka School Holiday Program

City of Greater Shepparton are running a School Holiday Program for Indigenous & Torres Strait Islander students aged 6 to 17 years. This will be hosted by Yaldara Yenara Aboriginal Corporation and coincides with Naidoc week.  The program is no charge for Indigenous students.

Sessions run each day from -

10 am - 12.30 pm for primary aged students 

1.30pm - 4pm for secondary aged students

Swimming Club - Come & Try Sessions

Shepparton Swimming Club are gearing up for the new season and have some 'Come & Try' sessions for those interested in joining.  Swimmers should be able to swim freestyle, breastroke and backstroke and be keen to race.

Transition Tatura

Transition Tatura is proud to Launch our 2021 Environmental Art Competition. We have great prizes and a great topic;

 “My Town: A Zero Carbon Town … what can I do to make it happen?”

 The categories of art we will be considering for this competition are as follows;

- Visual Art (painting, drawing, sculpture, fashion design, etc.)

- Performance Art (dance, theatre, song, music, etc.) (up to six minutes duration)

- Literature (poetry, story, etc.) (up to 1500 words)

- Media Arts (film, animation, computers, etc.) (up to six minutes duration)

Entries to close 4.00pm, Friday July 30th, 2021

Prizes of $60.00 for winning individual entries and $280.00 for the Overall Best Entry.

Saver Plus

Saver Plus Program is a program that will benefit those families whom are eligible in the school system, to assist with the purchasing of laptops, school uniforms, textbooks, camps and excursions and many more education costs.
