Principal's Report

Carly Avery

Dear Parents and Friends,

Next week we will have our annual Book Fair, the theme of which is 'Paws and Prints'. Thanks to Jo Bayliss for the work you have done in organising our Book Fair for next week. Please pop in any day if you would like to have a browse!

A reminder that next Friday 12th August is a Pupil Free day. Staff will be working with Maria Forde, Catholic Education Sandhurst, on a Catholic Identity focus.

Celebrating Mary of the Cross MacKillop

On Monday 8th August, we are celebrating the Feast of St. Mary of the Cross MacKillop. Mary is our first Australian Saint and dedicated herself to providing education, shelter, food and comfort to people and families in need. Her motto was "Never see a need without doing something about it". At St. Joseph's we try to live this out by the way that we treat people around us, both here at school and in the broader community.

To celebrate her life we are having a special Mass at 9 am in the Church. Everyone is invited to attend and to come to the Morning Tea afterwards. If you would like to come, just ring the Office so that we can cater for the food.

Any inquiries, just see Linda, Mardy or Irene.
