Wakakirri LIVE 2022!
Dear Parents and Carers,
We have now had our performance date confirmed! We will be performing live at Frankston Arts Centre on Tuesday August 23. The performance starts at 7:15pm. Ticketing information has been emailed out to all participating families.
Our story this year takes us on a journey with Hush and her Grandmother and the guardians of the forest. Hush has been made invisible by Grandma’s magic after a close escape from a snake, and so they must travel through the forest to find the Guardians of the Night Sky, Guardians of the River and Guardians of the Sunrise to ask them to fill Hush’s bucket and make her visible again.
Costumes must be brought in by the end of term, and all taught choreography is available on the Wakakirri Google Classroom.

Book Fair Dress Up Day
Book Fair Dress Up Day is slowly creeping up! Dress up day is on the 25th of August in week 7. Time to start thinking about costumes.
Student Learning Celebration
Years F-6
Monday 29th August and Wednesday 31st August 2022
Dear Parents/Carers,
Parents/Carers will have the opportunity to meet with their child’s teacher for a Student Learning Celebration on Monday the 29th of August between 3:30pm and 8:00pm or Wednesday the 31st of August between 3:30pm and 6:00pm. Each Student Learning Celebration will be 15 minutes in length.
Student Learning Celebrations are designed to showcase students' individual growth and achievement to their parents/carers. Student Learning Celebrations also gives parents, students and teachers an opportunity to celebrate the student’s successes together.
To book an interview, you will need to use the Parent Portal on Sentral (please refer to the instruction below), if you have any access issues please contact the office to assist you. Registrations to book an interview will open at 9:00am on Monday the 1st of August and will close at 5:00pm on Monday the 22nd of August. Please note, if you are booking interviews for multiple children, please do not schedule these directly after each other as you will need to allow time to travel between classrooms.

Year 2 Briars Day Camp
Year 2 grades are heading to Briars for their Day camp on Tuesday 9th August.
Middle Phillip Island Camp
Middle Camp is fast approaching this is at Phillip Island Adventure Camp on Monday 15th August till Wednesday 17th August.
