'Be the Best that You Can Be' - Promoting Independant Learning and Growth
Congratulations Macy Whetstone
On Sunday 31st August, Macy Whetstone, Yr. 9 competed in the Eisteddfod by the Bay where she won the 15-16 Years Solo (Voice) - Song from a Musical Production section. She sang 'Pulled' from the Addams Family musical and won the hearts of the judges and audience alike. Congratulations Macy!
Australian Mathematics Competition
On Thursday 5 August, students participated in the Australian Mathematics Competition which has become the largest single event on the Australian education calendar, allowing students to attempt the same tasks on the same day in over 30 countries around the globe. Students are asked to solve 30 problems in 75 minutes (Years 7–12). The problems are designed to test mathematical thinking and students of all standards make progress through the problems, and is challenged along the way.
