SUGGESTIONS FOR INDEPENDENT STUDY:

  1. Re-read the set texts
  2. Go over feedback given for each of your SAC’s. Work out where you need to improve.
  3. Create a countdown timeline to the exams and start planning revision.
  4. Buy some cue cards and start using them to record quotes/key ideas.
  5. Use posters for key ideas/quotes if that helps – display in the bathroom, kitchen, wherever works!
  6. Focus on Active Revision – just reading notes does not help. Have an end product in mind – practice essay?
  7. Complete one or two practice pieces every week that you submit for feedback
