Homework

Year 3/4 homework will come home on Monday and must be completed by Friday. Spelling homework has begun this week. All homework tasks completed need to be written in the students school diary, which must be brought to school everyday for your class teacher to sign.  Further homework will be sent home in Week 4. 

Most weeks the homework will consist of 4 components:

Spelling

A minimum of 3 spelling activities must be completed every week.

Mathematics

Mental Mathematics -Here the children consistently practice mathematical skills in all areas of  mathematics as well as the language of mathematics.

Reading

All children are required to read 5 nights a  week for at least 15 minutes.  This must be recorded in their diary with the book title and the page number read.

Mfacts

Mfacts is an online Times Tables program. As soon as this is setup for 2020 and available the children will be given their username and password. They are required to watch the introductory videos and complete the practice activities for each colour in sequence. Please note the ASSESSMENT activities must be completed at SCHOOL.

At different times throughout the year, the children will be given a project to complete over a 2-3 week period. At this time, there will be changes to the homework format.
