In Honor of our Veterans

Hello Aspire CCPA,

I hope everyone enjoyed their three day weekend. Shout out to everyone who came to support this past Saturday with Saturday School. Your help and assistance was greatly appreciated.

November 11, 1918, was the end of World War 1.  This day was celebrated the following year as Armistice Day. A day to reflect and celebrate the agreement to end the war. In 1926, congress passed a resolution for an annual observance for this day and in 1938 the national holiday began. To mark the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month of the year (November 11th at 11 am).

I have the utmost respect for any and everyone who risks their lives, so we may be able to live free. To all my community members who are related, be married to and/or have a family member who is a veteran; please send my appreciation and thanks.

Best,

Mike

P.S. Sorry history team if my facts are not 100% accurate. Lol.
