Change of entry for March 5th and 6th
Dear families and carers,
Due to the flooding in our car park it was necessary to arrive via the front of the school (Mill Street) this morning.
We believe the school car park on Browns Lane is unable to be used at this point. We ask that you pick up and drop off your children from the front entrance for the remainder of this week.
The school will evaluate the entrance and exit plans over the long weekend and notify you via Facebook, email, text, twitter and Seesaw of the decision before Tuesday morning.
It was great to see families coming through the new entrance this morning. We recognise that some students may take time to adjust. We ask that you communicate with the staff in your child’s room to make individual plans.
From every one at Yarrabah we thank you for your patience and perseverance. The school is doing everything it can to make these times smooth, safe and supportive.
If you have any ideas or thoughts about transitioning in the morning or afternoon, please speak with your child’s educators.
