PFA Report

Term 2 Comes To An End...
WOW!!! How fast has this term gone by? The children have enjoyed the evening disco, Mother's Day stall to buy a gift for a special someone, and the Loose Change Fundraiser. Also to add to the excitement we had some canteen special order days, stickybeak lunch bags and the name tag fundraiser that has just finished.
We have lots more exciting events coming up in Term 3 and 4, so keep an eye out for events running to help the school get some more amazing resources for our children.
From all of us at the PFA... Have a wonderful holiday break and we look forward to semester 2 at Lyndhurst Primary School.
Domino’s Fundraiser
A huge THANK YOU to Domino's Marriott Waters for their donation of $1 from each pizza sold during the last week.
Thank you to all the families from the school who also supported one of our local businesses and the school by having a Pizza night one night during the fundraiser.
There was a fantastic sale of pizzas, with a total of $1,597 to be donated to the school.
THANK YOU AGAIN DOMINO'S MARRIOTT WATERS.
Name Tag Fundraiser
Thank you to all the families that have put their order in for this year's name tags. Orders will be collated this week and sent off to be printed.
They should be back at school in the first week of Term 3 ready to go onto your bags and laptops for the 2nd half of the year. Thank you again for everyone who ordered and supported the school.
Loose Change Fundraiser
The classes did an amazing job in collecting all their loose change. It definitely is a favourite for all of them.
This year at assembly, the Top 5 classes who had collected the most money received a certificate for their classroom window. The totals this year were outstanding. We had 3 Prep classes in the Top 5 at the final week.
The final weeks tallies were:
1st Place : Prep F raising $219.20
2nd Place: 2F raising $136.10
3rd Place: Prep raising $122.30
4th Place: 1E raising $89.80
5th Place: Prep A raising $76.55
Total money raised over the month was $1,735.70
A fantastic amount collected from the whole school.
Well done to the top 3 classes. The class parties will be arranged for you in the beginning of next term. Something to spend the holidays looking forward to.
Woolworths Earn and Learn
Woolworths are running the Earn and Learn initiative again this year.
Every $10 that you spend in store on the weekly groceries will give you 1 sticker. Keep a track of all your stickers on the Earn and Learn Sticker Sheets. If you don’t have one of these to keep your stickers safe, there are some on the front counter of the office. Once you have filled up your page, simply drop it in the Earn and Learn box that is right at the office door (near the notices table in the foyer).
If you don’t get a chance to bring them into school, there are Lyndhurst Primary School Boxes in our local Marriott Waters Woolworths and also at Thompson’s Parkway Woolworths. Remember, the more stickers that we accumulate, the more educational supplies we will be able to select.
Stickers are available for collection up until the close of business on the 25th June 2019 – unless sold out prior.
Second Hand Uniform Stall
The Second Hand Uniform Stall will be running regularly, on the 1st Tuesday of every month. The next stall will be held on Tuesday 6th August from 8.30-9.00am and in the afternoon from 3.00-3.45 in the school gym
If anyone has any uniforms they would like to donate to the school, please hand them to the office. All clothes must be clean, without holes and able to be worn.
