INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC

INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC

We're gearing up for a busy Term 2 in the Instrumental Music Department.  All students are doing a fantastic job attending all rehearsals and lessons on time.

We remind students to check the 'Band & Ensemble Noticeboard' in the PAC hallway, as well as the 'Lesson Timetable Noticeboard' outside the PAC Office for lesson time changes, notices for Instrumental music students, and rehearsal details.

We're looking forward to the students participation in the Instrumental Music Workshops, as well as their performances at the Mid-Year Concert in June.

Also coming up in Term 2 is the LHS singing competition;  'The Voice' first auditions, as well as sign ups for Battle of the Bands. Both of these events will take place towards the end of Term 2.

MUSIC WORKSHOPS

All students involved in the Instrumental Music Program will be involved in a workshop day with their band/ensemble.

Green notices regarding the workshops have been given out to students this last week during band/ensemble rehearsals, and their individual lessons.

Students are given a day to work on their technical and performance skills. The emphasis of the day is readying students for their their performance as part of the Mid-Year Concert.

We ask that all students return their form and payment promptly to the PAC or  School Office by Friday May 22.

Students will be able to wear free-dress on the day, with lunch provided for all students participating.
