Year 8 Captains

Welcome Year 7's and 8's to a new year at Lilydale High School! We hope you had a fantastic Christmas and summer break and are looking forward to the exciting year ahead.

We know this year will be full of fun and that there will be many opportunities for you to get involved in the school community.

This week the Year 7's took part in Launch into High School, where they were split into groups and completed activities. They learnt all about the school rules, their rights and responsibilities and where students can go for help if they need it. Year 7's had the chance to meet a variety of people across the year level, including their new teachers.

Year 7 may seem overwhelming, but remember that you can talk to coordinators, any teacher, students around the school and your peer support leaders.

Make sure you are taking all the opportunities you can by joining clubs; there are so many! Clubs include; Ceramics, Clay Shooting, Technology, Anime, Art Clubs, Supper Club and so much more. There are also opportunities in the Reptile Room and Inter-School sports throughout the year.

Don¹t forget, coming up isphoto dayon Friday 17 February. Make sure to come nicely dressed in your full school uniform.

Looking forward to a great year!
