Doctors in Schools

The Doctors in Schools program has recommenced in 2018.  The Doctor will be at Shepparton High School in D1 to see Shepparton High School students each Tuesday 8.30am - 1pm.

 

Students can make an appointment through Mr Lelliott in the Student Wellbeing Office or with Nurse Gaynor in D1.

Sexual Health Nurse @ SHS

For the last three years Shepparton High School has been lucky enough to have the visiting services of Sexual Health Nurse Suzanne Wallis. Suzanne is is a Rural Sexual Health Nurse Practitioner at Goulburn Valley Health, who visits our school three times per term.

 

As a Sexual Health Nurse Practitioner, Suzanne is able to provide consultation and advice on all things sexual health to the students of our school. Throughout Suzanne’s time with us she has dealt with a range of issues from pregnancy testing, sexually transmitted Infection testing, education and contraception. Suzanne has also been involved in our Year 9 Sexual Health education Program ‘Taking Care of Me’ for a number of years.

 

Suzanne’s visits to the school are advertised in our student bulletin and students can self-refer or make an appointment with her through the Wellbeing team.
