Principal's Report

From the Principal.....

Year 10 and 11 students commenced their exams this week and will finish on Tuesday 17th November.   We will be running normal classes for these students on Wednesday 18th and Thursday 19th November where students will have the opportunity to receive feedback from their exams.  All students are expected to attend on these days. Friday November 20th is a student free day, so no students are required at school on that day.

Following the exam period, students in Years 9, 10 and 11 will be commencing their VCE or VCAL studies, beginning on Monday, November 23rd in our Orientation Week, in preparation for 2016.  Year 11 students’ final day of school for 2015 is Friday November 27th..  Year 10 students will be participating in Work Experience in the week beginning November 30th.  Year 9 students will be participating in a number of special activities and excursions, including the camp at Deakin University, in addition to normal classes, after Orientation Week.   They are expected to be at school every day.

Preparations are well underway for many other end of year events.  Our Annual Primary concert takes place on Thursday December 3rd. Secondary Awards Night will be held on Wednesday December 9th at the Drum Theatre in Dandenong.  I look forward to seeing many parents and families at these important events.

A reminder that Friday, November 20th is a student free day when staff will be participating in professional learning activities.  Students are not required at school on that day.
