Staff Profile

My name is Stephen Goss and this is my first year of teaching at Scoresby Secondary College. This year I am taking Year 7, 8 and 9 mathematics as well as VCAL Numeracy.

I have worked in many different educational settings in both the government and private sectors. My previous schools include Westall Secondary College, Templestowe Secondary College, Brentwood Secondary College, Marcellin College, Balwyn High School and Frankston High School. I have also participated in the Teacher Release to Industry program and during this year I worked for the Victorian Injury Surveillance System at the Royal Children’s Hospital. I completed research on injuries in school settings and published a paper on this topic.

On a personal note, I am married with two children – one at university and another completing VCE. My interests include swimming, mountain bike riding and gardening.

I am very much looking forward to working with all the students and staff at Scoresby in 2020.
