Presidents Report
We discussed quite a few items at this month’s school council meeting. The list below outlines these and if you have any contributions please do not hesitate to approach one of our school council members.
General Business:
- We are still investigating ways to Upgrade foundation playground, Replace damaged shade sails and upgrading shade sails on play equipment adjacent to the oval and create an appropriate Memorial for our Lone Pine. We found the plaque so if you have any great ideas can you please hand them in writing to the office
- The 2017 Annual Report to School Community has been attested and is attached to the current newsletter if you would like to view it.
- Twilight School was a great success with only a small percentage of students not attending
- The Kilsyth Chelodina festival is happening on the 28th of October 2018 at Elizabeth Bridge. This is a great family outing.
- A Sentral Parent Portal Information Session will be held later in this term. Attend this to learn how to use Sentral and what Kilsyth PS will be using this platform for.
- Two Parent Forums will be held later this month as part of our school review. If you would like to attend please let Mr Gooding know. It is always great to get a broad view of what parents feel is happening at Kilsyth.
There were no new policies to ratify at this month’s meeting.
As per usual thanks for taking the time to read the Presidents Report. If you have any items you would like raised at school council please feel free to contact one of our school council members. Our next School Council Meeting is Thursday 21st of June.
