Deaf Education

Centre (DEC)

We are coming to the end of a very busy first term.

Year 7

Congratulations to our Year 7 students who have completed their first Term of Secondary School. It has been great getting to know you and working with you in our DEC. You have displayed the College ASPIRE values excellently and we look forward to continuing to see you grow in your learning throughout Term 2.

Athletics Day

A great day was had at Ballam Park for Athletics Day. Our students joined in with the events of their choice including: 100m, 200m and relay races. Students and staff dressed up in their house colours to support each other and cheer for their teams. Pictured here is Kathryn, Charlotte, Jasmine and Sarah enjoying the festivities.

Senior Students

Well done to our Senior students who have been working hard and completing School-based assessments and coursework in their final year. We also had one Year 12 successfully pass their learners permit test this past week. Drive safe out there.

Hearing Australia

The Hearing Australia audiologist will visit in Term 2. They will troubleshoot any issues with hearing tech and give information about different services that can support our DEC students outside of the College.  Please contact Alex Robinson on 5971 6005 if you have any specific concerns regarding your students' hearing or education plan.
