PAST PERFORMANCES

MASQUERADE

What an outstanding performance by the Unit 3 Theatre Studies class of the play Masquerade by Kate Mulvany. The students have worked extremely hard over the last term and a half to produce this fantastic performance. This was an assessed performance for their Unit 3 studies, with all production rolls (director, lighting, sound, acting, costumes, props etc) being undertaken by the students themselves. 

Thank you to all friends, family and staff who attended the performances on Friday 7 May and Saturday 8 May. A huge thank you to Ms Lucy Angell who has supported the students in developing their production skills over this time, and ensured that the performance was a great success!

ALL-STATE JAZZ CHAMPIONSHIPS

Congratulations to the Intermediate Stage Band who played at the All-State Jazz Championships held at St Leonard’s College, Brighton East on Sunday 2 May. It was fantastic for the students of the Intermediate Stage Band to hear other groups of a similar standard, and to be able to play themselves. The Intermediate Stage Band played extremely well and represented the school brilliantly. Thank you to all that attended and to Ms Su Rogerson for her organisation of both this group and this event.

MUSIC ENSEMBLES  

Just a reminder that any student learning an instrument in Year 9 and above need to be part of an appropriate CORE ensemble. Membership of other ‘by invitation/audition’ groups is also reliant on CORE ensemble attendance.

All rehearsals are in the Auditorium.
