Student Wellbeing

Paul Lock

Wellbeing Coordinator

Many of the Year 12 students have departed for the time being and I was encouraged that most had solid plans and were optimistic about their new journey ahead. It is also a time for staff and the remaining Year 11s to reflect on the culture of the College and our hopes and intentions for the remainder of this year and 2023. We will continue to encourage understanding, respect and positive engagement in work and play and assist students to become the best version of themselves.

The College is in the process of writing the Wellbeing Plan for 2023 and welcome any ideas and contributions big and small for consideration for inclusion.

We have welcomed our new School Councillors in their first meeting late last term and one of their first tasks will be travelling to Northam on Thursday with a few staff to assess the suitability of the free Mental Health Week event for whole school participation and for ideas that the we can incorporate into events at the College.

As always, if you have any concerns, queries or comments please don’t hesitate to get in touch. Stay safe.
