The CLEVER class that is 3/4C!

Written by Dimitar and Thomas on the 04th of October

What is so special about this class? Let’s find out!

For this week’s class we have 3/4C, one of the classes that are part of the school's amazing 3/4 cohort. As part of the class spotlight we interviewed two of the delightful kids, asking them some questions about what they do in reading, writing and mathematics and really what has been going on within their amazing class. They were happy to answer, and this was what they said:

What makes your class such a special place to learn in?

The teachers and classmates are really nice and that helps me to learn new facts each day.

I learn about all sorts of special things and I improve my skills all the time.

What is your class doing at the moment in Reading?

Right now, we are learning about analysing different types of texts. This is brand new to us but we are learning about whether a teacher is trying to persuade, inform or entertain us. As well as this, we have personal learning goals. My goal is to learn about figurative language.

What is your class doing at the moment in Writing?

We are completing narrative texts. This includes learning to include the different parts of the text and improve writing different types of words such as verbs, adjectives, and Nouns.

What is your class doing at the moment in Mathematics?

We are learning about Fractions. Right now this includes learning about whole fractions and how to use them. Right now we are learning about Benchmarking.

What is your favourite part about being a student at Albanvale Primary School?
I get respected by all of the teachers and students. They are very nice to me. I also think it is a cool and safe place to learn in. We do lots of fun things when we are learning.

It is clear that the students in 3/4C are doing some awesome work and this has allowed the class to learn some great things. We will be back next week to highlight the great work that another of Albanvale Primary School Classes work is doing.
