Foodbank at Albanvale Primary School.

On Monday the 10th of October after school a number of students and their families had the opportunity to work with FoodBank to prepare some family cooking.

This is a program that Albanvale Primary School organised and helped to create memories for our students that they will remember for a long time.

Today, we asked 2 students that took part in the program questions about what this involved and how they felt. This is what they had to say:

What did you make at the Foodbank event?

We cooked rice Vietnamese paper rolls with other students and their families.

What was the hardest part about cooking the food?

We had to show patience so that the food would cook properly.

The food smelt so good that it was hard to keep my hands off it.

What else can you tell us about the Foodbank cooking?

There was a council representative there that helped all the families. It was so much fun and it was great to work with our families.
