Foodbank at Albanvale Primary School.

As part of their Social Justice Class, and over the course of just two weeks, the Grade 5/6 students took initiative and ran a drive 'Albanvale gives a helping hand' in support of the Helping Hands Mission.

The workers at the Helping Hands Mission had this to say:

" As a not for profit organisation that does not receive government funding to run out emergency and Material Aid programs, any support makes a huge difference to hundreds of families who access our pantries every week.

For the students at Albanvale Primary School to collect non-perishable food products and more that will impact so many lives, they should be so proud of themselves."

This was an extremely rewarding program that we ran and one that we will hopefully do again next year.
