The APS Breakfast Club is a part of the Young Leaders Program that helps students start their day in a healthy way. We interviewed Ramy from this group and this is what he had to say:

We interviewed Ramy
What is the main reason that this group is a part of the young leaders program?

It is important for people to have breakfast in the morning and it’s good for you because it keeps you going in class. It can help with your memory and your learning.

What do you do each week on Tuesday afternoon?

We collect different classes' tubs and fruit bowls and go to the Centre Of Excellence. We refill the fruit and the tubs with milks and cereal and we return it to the classroom. By doing this, we make sure that every student has what they need to have a good day at school.

Why do you think this group is important for students at Albanvale Primary School?

It is important for every student to have breakfast because it helps them get ready for class and if they don’t have breakfast at home they can have it at school. This is something that Albanvale Primary School is doing to be able to make sure that all students can learn.

What is your favourite part of being in this group?
Working with my friends to be able to have a part in the way that the school runs. As well as this, it is a great way to show responsibility.

This is an amazing part of the Young Leader Program and everyone in this group were all so excited to be a part of it. This a really good opportunity to make sure everyone is having what they need in the morning and one thing we are doing at Albanvale Primary School to make sure students succeed.
