Australian Maths Competition

We had a terrific amount of enthusiastic mathematicians enrol in this year’s Australian Mathematics Competition from Years 5-10. The competition is designed to push students out of their comfort zones in Mathematics, but also reveals strengths in areas they may not have encountered. Out of the hundreds of thousands entrants, students at Kyabram P-12 College received 1 Distinction, 5 Credits, numerous Proficiencies, and lastly Participation awards.

In Grades 5/6, the Distinction went to Cooper Rodriquez and Credits were awarded to Oliver Ohlsen, Jedda Booth,  James McKeown and Ruby Thomson. The results for 7-10 participants will be posted at a later date. 

Everyone involved exhibited the school values of Doing Your Best and Resilience and should be congratulated for completing the Australian Maths Competition in 2022!
