Catch Up with Mavis and Neil Grummitt

This week we enjoyed a wonderful catch up with Mavis and Neil Grummitt.  

Each year since 2014 the Grummitt family have donated $5,000 for a scholarship for a student,  to support their education.   Since 2014 their donation has amounted to $50,000. 

We were excited and thrilled this week, to learn that Mavis and Neil have committed a further $100,000 to ensure the future of the scholarship for many years to come.  Amazing support of our college and students!  

‘The Neil and Mavis Grummitt Scholarship is awarded to a student of fine character and general all-round ability with a proven financial hardship, who will embrace the culture of a rounded education and who is able to demonstrate that he/she would benefit from the opportunities that such an education would present’.

The morning tea held this week saw some of our past students who were Grummitt Scholarship recipients return and enjoy a catch up and let the Grummitt's know what they are now doing since leaving school.
