Pastoral Care Worker

I was thinking about what to write for the Newsletter and then the Queen died. As much as I am not a royalist, I figure it would only make sense to have quote about Queen this week. The one quote I have heard the most since her passing is -

“I declare before you all that my whole life, whether it be long or short, shall be devoted to your service and the service of our great imperial family to which we all belong”.

I don’t know about you; I think she lived up to this quote. What an amazing life she has lead. Some key moments you might remember about her are her love for Corgis and horses, strolling in the Garden with David Attenborough, the opening Ceremonies of Olympic and Commonwealth Games and of the London Olympics with James Bond, her Platinum Jubilee and in particular her most recent sketch earlier this year with Paddington Bear and Marmalade sandwiches. 

So, this is how I remember our Queen, how would you like to be remembered?
