Wellbeing

On Tuesday evening, five College students graduated from the Young Leaders Program. This initiative, run by the Glenelg and Southern Grampians LLEN group, has allowed our students to work with students from the other secondary schools in Hamilton to enhance and develop their leadership skills.

Will Merrin, Lachlan Rees, Grace McPherson, Hayley Spence and Arbella Little were fabulous representatives for our College. They have been involved in a MasterChef Challenge, A Day on Country, Public Speaking seminars and a day of industry tours. One of the most incredible aspects of this course is the mentor program where students get to spend some time in a Work Experience setting with a mentor in an area of their interest. This was the most influential aspect of the Young Leaders program as mentors and students developed a mutual respect and understanding. You could see the positive relationships develop throughout the program and on display at the Graduation Ceremony.

The Graduation Ceremony itself was organised and run by all the students. Well done to everyone involved!
