Year 11 Theatre Studies

A Midsummer Nights’ Dream performances

Well done to the year 11 Theatre Studies class on their entertaining performance of Shakespeare’s magical comedy, A Midsummer Nights’ Dream. The students took on acting and production roles and collaborated on the dramatic vision. The audience reaction when the curtains opened to reveal the magical forest showed that they achieved their aim! We are looking forward to seeing the work this group will produce in year 12.

SEVR BandFest

On Thursday 3 November the South East Victorian Region (SEVR) organised the year 7 band workshop. 

Cheltenham Secondary College students joined us and we performed music pieces with each other. Simon Brown, a highly regarded conductor, provided us with a day filled with music and joy. Together, we performed a variety of pieces, such as "Chesapeake March," "Race Against Time," "Whirling Novas," and many others. 

Overall, our time spent with Simon Brown and the other students was enjoyable for all of us.
